Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Friday that Ukraine's military does not use Starlink for attacks inside Russia.
"We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered 'shaheds' that attack our civilians and kill families," Zelensky stated, adding that the satellite network is also used for mid-range strikes against Russian military targets in the "temporarily occupied territories." However, he stressed that these operations were not possible when speed restrictions were imposed on the satellite network.
"Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes," Zelensky said, noting that its troops have spent "weeks" and "months" on the front line, receiving food and water delivered by drones using Starlink.
