Two men were stabbed in an unprovoked rampage on the Upper West Side near Central Park on Thursday afternoon, law-enforcement sources said.
The first victim was attacked near West 84th Street and Central Park West and stabbed in the back at around 1:30 p.m., according to the sources.
The second man, believed to be in his 50s, was stabbed in the chest near West 86th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, the sources said.
The suspected stabber was caught a couple of blocks away, according to the sources.
An investigation was ongoing.
