The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Telegram that troops demolished "several key underground tunnels beneath the Beaufort Ridge" to eliminate a strategic command center and a threat to northern Israel.
Engineers destroyed significant portions of a multi-level subterranean complex that the Iranian-funded Bader Unit used as its central command center. Located near Metula, the facility served as a launchpad for numerous anti-tank missiles, explosive devices, and UAV attacks against northern Israel throughout the conflict.
"The IDF continues to remain committed to the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and will continue to operate to remove any threat posed to IDF soldiers," the forces added.
