The Trump administration is reportedly planning to invest $5 billion to help rebuild Middle East energy infrastructure damaged during the war with Iran, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday, citing sources and documents.
The proposal would seek matching contributions from regional allies, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan, to create a $10 billion investment fund known as the Partnership for Allied Trust and Construction, the documents revealed.
