The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Monday that it attacked a Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip as retaliation for the militant group's ceasefire violations.
"During routine activity by IDF forces in the Yellow Line area, an engineering vehicle hit an explosive device. There were no casualties among our forces. This is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement by the Hamas terrorist organization," the IDF stated.
The Israeli military stated that its Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area will "continue to act to eliminate any immediate threat."
