South Korean internet-only banks reported a 50.6% surge in small-business loans to 8.32 trillion won ($5.98 billion) at the end of June, Yonhap reported.
Financial data from K-Bank, Kakao Bank, and Toss Bank show that lenders grew their business loans following tighter household lending regulations.
The three banks reached a combined loan balance of 83.63 trillion won ($60.3 billion) at the end of June.
