IRGC-linked Tasnim News says air defence systems have been activated at the Kharab al-Jir base in Syria’s northeastern Hasakah province, citing unnamed reports.
Tasnim provided no immediate details on what prompted the activation or whether the base was facing an attack.
Kharab al-Jir, near the Iraqi border, has previously been targeted by missiles and drones during the Iran war.
US-led coalition forces have maintained a presence at the base after withdrawing from other positions in northeastern Syria.
