Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) press department said on Thursday that it carried out an attack on the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, resulting in the destruction of two drone hangars and a fuel tank.
The fuel tank was used for refuelling aircraft and military helicopters, the IRGC added. The news comes amid the newest escalation between Washington and Tehran, following mutual strikes across the Middle East. Earlier today, Iran also warned any nation that aids US attacks will face a "severe response."
