United States President Donald Trump declined to comment on earlier reports of strikes on Iran's Qeshm Island, but told reporters that Washington carries out "minor strikes" in the country.
When asked whether the US was responsible for the reported strikes, Trump said he doesn't want to talk about it. "We do minor strikes. They built a little bit of an anti-aircraft device and we knocked it out in 15 minutes, maybe five," he told reporters.
Trump also said the US could be considered "an occupier" in the conflict. "What we are is maybe an occupier. Could be an occupier. Because, you know, we do, we control the Hormuz Strait," he noted.
