Explosions were heard in Iran's Bushehr province, Al Jazeera reported, citing Iranian media, with the report coming shortly after the United States military launched new strikes against the country.
Additionally, three blasts were heard on Iran's Qeshm Island, with locals saying that a missile struck a residential area there, according to the report.
The US said the strikes were a "powerful response" to attempted Iranian attacks on US forces.
