The United States military is carrying out air strikes in Iran, Axios reporter Barak Ravid said on X, citing an unnamed US official.
The report came after US President Donald Trump told Fox News on Wednesday that Iran is "going to get a beating" in response to strikes on a US base in Jordan.
A separate report from i24 News correspondent Guy Azriel, which cited an unnamed Israeli security official, claimed on Wednesday that Washington was preparing a major action against Iran. There has been no official confirmation of the strikes reported by Ravid as of yet.
