Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak claimed on Saturday that "more and more global politicians and countries are declaring they were wrong" to abandon Russian energy resources.
While speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week, Novak noted the demand for Russian gas, oil and petroleum products is growing globally.
The comment came after United States President Donald Trump waived some sanctions against Russia, claiming that the move is "in the national interest."
