Several explosions have been heard near Erbil, the capital of Iraq's Kurdistan region, Lebanese news outlet Al-Mayadeen reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, air defense systems were activated to counter a drone in the airspace of Erbil's suburbs. Meanwhile, Iran's semi-official news outlet Fars News Agency reported that flames have erupted from the United States' base in Al-Harir in Iraq's Erbil province.
