Israel's military has cleared Hezbollah fighters from tunnels beneath the strategic Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Friday.
"The mission was completed and the tunnels were cleared of terrorists," Katz said.
The military said it had operational control of the ridge, adding that some Hezbollah fighters had been killed and others had fled.
