Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights of Palestine (OHCHR) called for the evacuation of all settlers from the occupied West Bank following reports of two Palestinian teenagers being killed in al-Mughayyir during an attack, bringing the town's death toll to nine since December 2025.
"Israel must meet its international law obligation to end its unlawful presence and evacuate all settlers from the occupied West Bank," OHCHR wrote in a statement on X.
It said that al-Mughayyir has faced over 50 attacks in 2026, with an average of seven attacks per month, "with the acquiescence, support, and participation of Israeli forces." The village remains surrounded by eight outposts.
