United States Vice President JD Vance stated on Thursday that he thinks China is willing to comply with Washington's attempt to impose a full economic blockade on Iran.
Nevertheless, Vance did not directly reply to a reporter's question about whether there is another country, besides the United Arab Emirates, that is willing to join the economic siege of Iran. Vance added that, despite certain disagreements with China, "they're not the sort of nation that shoots at commercial shipping because they're not getting their way in an international dispute."
Vance suggested that countries like Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Saudi Arabia are willing to ensure that Iran pays the price for threatening commercial shipping, though he did not elaborate further.
