The United States warned Americans on Sunday to exercise heightened vigilance in the Middle East and said Iran and groups supportive of Tehran may target US interests and Americans around the world.
“Americans currently in the Middle East should exercise heightened vigilance due to the complex security environment,” the US Virtual Embassy in Iran said in a security alert, warning of potential flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions.
