Ligand Pharmaceuticals signs up to $47 million financing agreement with AvenCell Therapeutics tied to CAR-T pipeline assets

• Ligand to receive mid single-digit to low double-digit royalties on AvenCell’s current and future CAR-T pipeline assets.
• Agreement also includes up to $6 million in Ligand participation in AvenCell’s Series C financing round.
