OpenAI to publish first safety report in early 2027

 OpenAI said on Friday that it will release its first Community Safety Report in early 2027, covering the second half of 2026.

"We're committing to launch the Community Safety Report on violence prevention and other community safety issues, and the effectiveness of our safeguards," the ChatGPT maker said in a statement. It added that the report will include ways to train the company's systems to detect, investigate and respond to different safety issues.

OpenAI noted that, starting in early 2027, it will publish its safety reports every six months to include new updates.
