A large fishing vessel has been boarded by unauthorized personnel, raising concerns that the incident could be linked to the formation of a pirate action group, the UK Maritime Trade Operations said Saturday.
The agency urged vessels to navigate the Persian Gulf region with caution, follow maritime security best practices and report suspicious activity as authorities investigate.
