Flights from Tehran to Turkey, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Pakistan are continuing despite recent restrictions imposed on Iranian airlines, the head of Imam Khomeini International Airport’s operating company said on Saturday.
Ramin Kashef-Azar told Tasnim that, apart from previously canceled routes including the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Georgia, no additional countries had announced new flight restrictions.
He said Iranian aviation officials were in talks to restore suspended routes, while inbound and outbound flights at Imam Khomeini airport were otherwise operating normally.
